African Media: Kenya is Obama's “Continent Of Birth” PDF  | Print |  E-mail

The Daily Graphic, a major Ghanaian news outlet has acknowledged Obama's visit as a return to the "Continent of his birth". Whether this admission was intentional, an oblivious statement, or a slip up may be debatable, but the implications are quite serious. The fact that the article makes 4 references to Kenya as being Obama's birthplace would seem to rule out a slip up, but one must wonder why the Ghanaian news outlet would report that Obama was born in Africa, when this would instantly invalidate his entire presidency.

Here are the 4 damning statements:

"For Ghana, Obama's visit will be a celebration of another milestone in African history as it hosts the first-ever African-American President on this presidential visit to the continent of his birth."

'"pending one night and about 24 hours in Ghana, Mr Obama will not be spending as much time in the country as Bush did; he is also not the first of the three to visit,
but undoubtedly, the significance and historic nature of his visit will dwarf those of Clinton and Bush."

"Prior to the announcement of the Ghana trip, it was widely speculated that Mr Obama’s first visit to Africa will be to
Kenya, the land of his paternal ancestors."

"However, Ghana’s political pedigree as the first independent country in sub-Saharan Africa and kingpin of Africa’s liberation struggle, as well as its recent exemplary strides in democracy, political stability and good governance, might have been compelling credentials that made it a preferred destination for Mr Obama, instead of his own fatherland."

Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution states, “No person except a natural born citizen… shall be eligible to the office of president.”

Many people already believed that Mr. Barack Hussein Obama is not eligible for the presidency and this most recent admission from the Continent of his alleged birthplace is sure to set another fire storm.

It is important to note, this is not the first time information that would suggest Hawaii is not Obama's birthplace, has come out. There also remain unanswered questions about his youth, when he lived and attended school in Indonesia and later when he traveled to Pakistan. The questions include whether he gave up a U.S. citizenship to attend school or traveled on another nation's passport to Pakistan at a time when U.S. passports were unwelcome there.

This video of Obama's Grandmother left us with a question of translation, does Sarah Obama say he
was born IN their village, or OF their village?

WND reported in the April issue of Whistleblower that Obama's step-grandmother in an interview transcript obtained by WND in Africa, has claimed she was present at Obama's birth in Mombasa, Kenya.

WND is in possession of an affidavit submitted by Rev. Kweli Shuhubia, an Anabaptist minister in Kenya, who is the official Swahili translator for the annual Anabaptist Conference in Kenya, and a second affidavit signed by Bishop Ron McRae, the presiding elder of the Anabaptists' Continental Presbytery of Africa.

In his affidavit, Shuhubia asserts "it is common knowledge throughout the Christian and Muslim communities in Kenya that Barack Hussein Obama, Jr., was born in Mombasa, Kenya."

Shuhubia further states in his affidavit that he visited Obama's grandmother at her home in the village of Alego-Kogello, on Oct. 16, 2008, in order to conduct a telephone conference interview that would connect with McRae in the United States.

During the telephone interview, McRae specifically asked Sarah Obama two times, "Were you present when your grandson was born in Kenya."

"Both times she specifically replied, 'Yes,'" Shuhubia affirmed in the affidavit.

"Ms. Sarah Hussein Obama was very adamant that her grandson, Senator Barack Hussein Obama, was born in Kenya, and that she was present and witnessed his birth in Kenya, not the United States," Shuhubia continued in the affidavit.

"During the conversation, Ms. Sarah Hussein Obama never changed her reply that she was indeed present when Senator Barack Obama was born in Kenya," Shuhubia insisted in the affidavit.

The affidavit documents that President Obama's step-grandmother was asked the questions several times, both in her native language, Swahili, and in English, and that the Anabaptists conducting the interview were confident she understood clearly the questions that were asked.

"Ms. Sarah Hussein Obama never changed her reply that she was indeed present when Senator Barack Obama was born in Kenya," McRae swore in his affidavit

McRae affirmed that Obama's step-grandmother had been asked the question several times and a discussion over the conference call with those present with her in her home in Kogello made clear that she understood the question.

So far attempts to obtain Obama's long-form Birth Cirtificate from the Hospital in Hawaii where Obama claims to have been born, have so far been unsucessful. Or have they?

kapiolani medical centerPolitics Daily Reports, Director of Hawaii's Department of Health, Dr. Chimoye Fukino, and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have personally verified that the health department holds Obama's original birth certificate.

"Therefore, I  [Dr. Chimoye Fukino] as Director for the State of Hawai'i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai'i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama's original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures, Fukino said.

But as investigator Jorge L. Baro, of Elite Legal Services in Florida wrote,
"On October 31st, 2008, officials in Hawaii released a statement that they had examined the birth certificate, but failed to declare whether it was a Live Birth Certificate generated by a hospital with signatures of the attending physician or a 'Late Birth' Certificate of Hawaiian Birth that could have been obtained (for a child) who is one year old or older after birth by a simple affirmation of a family member,"  Or as Bob Unrah says, "The Certification of Live Birth from Hawaii that the Obama campaign posted on the Internet isn't considered by critics to resolve the issue, since during the 1960s when Obama was born, the new state issued the document to  infants not necessarily born in Hawaii."

Also "Wayne Madsen, Journalist with Online Journal as a contributing writer published an article on June 9, 2008, stating that a research team went to Mombassa, Kenya, and located a Certificate Registering the birth of Barack Obama, Jr. at a Kenya Maternity Hospital, to his father, a Kenyan citizen and his mother, a U.S. citizen. However, the registration is a common practice in African countries whose citizens abroad have families with foreign nationals.

Maj. Gen. Carroll D. Childers Another important aspect in this controversy is the men and women of the armed services. Such as now retired Maj. Gen. Carroll D. Childers who says that the president's eligibility needs proof. More recently, U.S. Army Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook, who is set to deploy to Afghanistan, says he shouldn’t have to go because Barack Obama wasn’t born in the United States, and thus was never eligible to be president or commander-in-chief.

In states all over the country, many cases have been filed, too many to list in fact. Several of the cases have involved emergency appeals to the U.S. Supreme Court, ironically justices have declined to hear arguments. Some of the cases turned down without a hearing at the high court have been petitions by Philip Berg, Cort Wrotnowski, Leo Donofrio and Taitz.

Personally, I do not know if Barack Hussein Obama, a.k.a. Barry Soetoro, is eligible for the Presidency based on his U.S. citizenship & guidelines of the Constitution.  Although I must admit: it certainly appears to me, based on the ever mounting circumstantial evidence, his response to the BIG question, and his lack of response (just release the birth certificate already!), that he is not eligible. Just my opinion. Also, I do not care if Obama is a Muslim, but should he have lied to the American people about his heritage and beliefs?

That being said, I would like to explore how this issue of Eligibility could do more harm than good..
Here are just a few key words, thoughts, and articles to think about:

Race War/Civil war,
Divide & conquer tactics
A media driven, mass rejection of the Constitution by the uninformed & those unaware and unappreciative of American History
'Natural-born' requirement called 'stupidest provision 'Also 'discriminates, outdated, undemocratic and assumes birthplace a proxy for loyalty'

To be continued, check back soon for an expansion on "more harm than good" and the best areas to focus our efforts
