42% of Parents Don’t Want their Children Watching Obama Speech
The National Expositor

September 4, 2009

In a poll taken by KSL.com in their article – School districts cautious ahead of Obama speech to students, 42 percent of parents in Utah want their schools to opt out or keep their children home during President Obama’s speech.

If this video is shown in your children’s school, would you?
1. Let them watch it – 58% (418)
2. Opt out, if available – 22% (159)
3. Keep home from school – 20% (145)
Total Votes: 722

According to Fox News, concern arose when one of the lesson plans was released. The lesson plans stated, students in pre-kindergarten through grade 6, are suggested to “write letters to themselves about what they can do to help the president.” After the speech students are supossed to discuss what, “the president wants us to do.”

After much controversy, the White House changed their lesson plans for children to “write letters to themselves about how they can achieve their short-term and long-term education goals. These would be collected and redistributed at an appropriate later date by the teacher to make students accountable to their goals.”
Some school districts are not allowing parents to opt-out.

At least one school district, Tempe Elementary School District No. 3 in Arizona, is not permitting parents to pull their children out of class during Obama’s speech.

“I have directed principals to have students and teachers view the president’s message on Tuesday,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Arthur Tate Jr. said in a statement Thursday. “In some cases, where technology will not permit access to the White House Web site, DVDs will be provided to classes on subsequent days. I am not permitting parents to opt out students from viewing the president’s message, since this is a purely educational event.”

Oklahoma State Senator Randy Brogdon is concerned, “President Obama has shown time and time again that he has little regard for the Constitution or our founding principles… President Obama seems intent on bypassing the parents to speak to the children directly, I don’t like that, it’s just one step too far.”

Is Senator Brogdon’s concern valid? This week, President Obama’s Green Job Czar, Van Jones, explains the incremenatlist strategy of the Obama administration. While speaking about Green Jobs, Jones states that you cannot appear too radical at the beginning of any movement. In other words, in order not to alarm people, “You have to pursue these same steps in stages.”

Larger concern revolves around what the full agenda is in all this? In April, president Obama signed into law the “Serve America Act.”  The law uses 1.1 billion dollars to increase the membership in AmeriCorp from 75,000 to 250,000 children by the year 2017.

What is the role of AmeriCorp? If the idea were to create a civilian stasi type security force, Van Jones reminds us that it would be done in incremental steps. Evidence already points towards these civilian security forces being used for law enforcement duties

In his article, Homeland Defense: The Pentagon Declares War on America, Frank Morales writes,

“In the wake of 9/11, CNCS (Corporation for National and Community Service) was fully integrated into “homeland defense efforts”. In March 2002, the Corporation issued a “notice of availability of funds to strengthen communities and organizations in using service and volunteers to support homeland security.” With an emphasis on “public safety” and “freeing up police time”, the grants offered under the announcement “are to assist communities in getting involved in the war against terrorism on the home front.” In the area of “public safety” the grants “will help provide members to support police departments…in tasks and other functions that can be performed by non-sworn officers.” Now mind you, the volunteers “are not armed, nor can they make arrests, but they carry out vital tasks including organizing neighborhood watch groups…” They also “organize communities to identify and respond to crime and disorder problems…”

Children do not have the knowledge of history or experience to understand what they are being drawn into. AmeriCorp and City Year pray on children’s innocence in the same way John Taylor Gatto states public schools do. “Schools teach emotional dependency. By stars, checks, smiles, frowns, prizes, honors, and disgraces, schools condition children to lifelong emotional dependency. It’s like training a dog. The reward/punishment cycle, known to animal trainers from antiquity, is the heart of a human psychology distilled in late nineteenth-century Leipzig and incorporated thoroughly into the scientific management revolution of the early twentieth century in America. Half a century later, by 1968, it had infected every school system in the United States, so all-pervasive at century’s end that few people can imagine a different way to go about management. And indeed, there isn’t a better one if the goal of managed lives in a managed economy and a managed social order is what you’re after.”

In the videos below, both Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and President Obama state that their end goal is to have a cumpulsory civilian security force. What better way would there be to achieve their goal, than to bypass parental supervision and sell the idea straight to the children?  This mode of operation and agenda has been implemented several times throughout history. I’m sure you are all aware of the result.

Mockingbird Asset Cooper Spins Obama Pep Rally

In the video below, CIA operative Anderson Cooper bends over backwards to make Obama’s pep rally a right versus left issue and thus deflate criticism. Roland Martin, CNN’s resident pro-Obama shill, told Cooper American parents need to “grow up” and accept government indoctrination of their kids. It’s all the fault of “rightwing” (read: violent and extremist) radio talks show hosts, he declared. In order to push the false right-left paradigm and further obfuscate the issue, CNN rolled a speech of George W. Bush talking about the government’s disastrous “No Child Left Behind” boondoggle before an audience of captive school children. Cooper used the clip to attack Jim Greer, Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida.

Instead of grilling a party hack from Florida, Cooper should have interviewed parents concerned about the brazen attempt by the federal government to propagandize children. In a school district in Missouri, a superintendent told USA Today the district has received “more calls than we’ve ever had on an issue” and parents will keep their kids out of school. “I don’t want him coming into the schools and making a political speech to my children,” a parent in Texas told the newspaper. “It’s just wrong.”

Obama’s speech is another example of the Pavlovian/Skinnerian animal training methods used by public schools to indoctrinate children. As Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt, former Senior Policy Adviser in the U.S. Department of Education, wrote in her book The Deliberate Dumbing down of America, public schools use the Hegelian dialectic, gradualism, and semantic deception to brainwash the nation’s school kids and turn them into cogs for the state. Public schools are not about education — they are about ensuring the smooth operation of the “system,” according to Iserbyt. Public schools are about indoctrinating children and excluding parents from the process.

It does not matter if Obama talks about specific policies or not during his televised speech — he will be presented as an authority figure to a captive audience of impressionable minds. The speech is about the Obama cult of personality and inculcating children to accept government.

Anderson Cooper is not married and does not have children. If he did have children, he might understand why parents around the country are outraged. On the other hand, as a darling of the ruling elite — he is a descendant of Cornelius Vanderbilt — he certainly wouldn’t send his kids to a public “education” gulag.

Indoctrination Of Obama Youth In Schools Accelerates 040909top2

Despite efforts to portray next week’s event as merely the President giving a speech to students, the full scope of what some education experts are decrying as part of an indoctrination program represents an advancement of the creepy, Orwellian, cult of personality-style worship of Obama and servitude to government being pushed in schools throughout America.

President Obama is set to address students directly on Tuesday with a speech that will be streamed live on the White House website in what the government claims is a move designed to encourage kids to stay in school.

However, the speech is to be accompanied by lesson plans issued by the Department of Education which instruct teachers to ask children “Why is it important that we listen to the President and other elected officials.”

The children are also asked to consider, “What is the President trying to tell me?,” “What is the President asking me to do?,” and “What new ideas and actions is the President challenging me to think about?”

Children were also asked to write letters about what they can do to help the President, but this section has since been amended following an outcry.

Activities suggested for after Obama’s speech include asking students “What resonated with you from President Obama’s speech? What lines/phrase do you remember?”

“In general, I don’t think there’s a problem if the president uses the bully pulpit to tell kids to work hard, study hard and things like that. But there are some troubling hints in this, both educationally and politically,” Neal McCluskey, associate director of Cato Institute’s Center for Educational Freedom, told Fox News, adding that kids who refuse to follow Obama’s policies could end up trailing their peers.

“It essentially tries to force kids to say the president and the presidency is inspiring, and that’s very problematic,” McCluskey said. “It’s very concerning that you would do that.”

McCluskey noticed several passages in the lesson plans that seemingly glorify Obama and advance the cult-like persona being built around him, especially when it comes to young people.

“It could be a blatantly political move,” he said. “Nobody knows for sure, but it gives that impression.”

Frederick Hess, director of education policy studies at the American Enterprise Institute, said the lesson plans “very much starts to set up the president as a superintendent in chief.”

Over the past year there have been several examples, documented by way of You Tube videos, that show school children being directed to pledge allegiances, perform military style drills, or write and sing songs in honor of Obama. Though establishment talking heads are often aghast at people who invoke historical dictators in criticizing Obama, some of the scenes that have come out of American schools do closely resemble the kind of idol worship that school children were ordered to perform in Maoist China or Nazi Germany.

The videos below should seriously disturb the reader and offer a warning as to where the idolatry of Obama and his government could lead if left unchecked. The Orwellian nature of what is going on in American schools should at least send a shiver down the spine of all those who are aware of what has happened historically when leaders carefully groom a cult of personality and create a generation of mindless sycophantic followers who are unaware they are pledging allegiance to a dictator.

This creepy cult-like video showing celebrities pledging their “service” to the Obama government’s global warming agenda is being shown in Utah schools.

This now infamous “Obama Youth” video shows students at a middle school in Missouri performing a military style drill while chanting slogans about Obama’s policies.

Disinterested-looking children forced to compose and sing a song in Obama’s honor.

A creepy video of young children in Illinois singing a Maoist-style homage to Obama’s government, chanting “Yes We Can.” A shockingly accurate comparison with the Hitler Youth is made at the end of the clip.

Teenagers in Toronto Canada perform a song for Obama in school.

A group of third graders sing another Obama worship song.

Children mindlessly chanting for Obama on a school bus.
